Monday

Weekly Diary 5/3/07

We have been looking at how using electricity can effect global warming. This happens because when coal and oil are burned, it creates pollution and this can damage the ozone layer.
Some children made posters which we will display in the school and this will encourage children and staff to save electricity in our school.

We have been encouraging classes to collect white paper in their green boxes. Every Monday four children go round the classrooms and collect the paper to be recycled. It is important that people only put white paper in the boxes because we can not recycle coloured paper.

Today's blog was posted by Katie Johnston and Anjali Kochar with the help of Miss Young.

You have a really good point telling people to not recycle coloured paper and it is good you are recycling white paper.
